St. Joseph's Krewe Restaurant will kick off a series of town hall conversations focused on surviving and thriving in rural Minnesota, specifically as entrepreneurs and business owners.

The event at Krewe is the first of the Rural Voice series' town halls, which intend to capture "imaginative and illuminating town hall conversations about the rewards and challenges of making a home in rural America," according to the Rural Voice website. The three planned events mark a collaboration between three of the state's six initiative foundations (the Initiative Foundation, Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation and Northland Foundation) and is being supported by Compeer Financial, according to the Initiative Foundation.
