The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce today announced the 2025-26 Leadership Minnesota class — a select group of 40 business leaders from across the state who are helping shape Minnesota’s economic future.

“Leadership Minnesota is our state’s premier executive development program,” said Doug Loon, President and CEO of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. “We’re thrilled to welcome this outstanding group of leaders who are driving growth and innovation in their industries. Their insights and collaboration will strengthen Minnesota’s economy for years to come.”

Celebrating its 25th year, Leadership Minnesota gives participants a behind-the-scenes look at what powers Minnesota’s economy—from manufacturing and energy to technology, natural resources and public policy. Through immersive, statewide sessions, participants gain first-hand understanding of the challenges and opportunities that affect employers and communities alike.

The six-month program connects leaders with peers across industries, deepening their awareness of how decisions at the Capitol and in boardrooms alike shape the business climate. Sessions run from September 2025 through February 2026, each highlighting a key sector of Minnesota’s diverse economy.

Included among the selections for this year’s class is Erin Sparks, economic development lead at Great River Energy.

“Being selected for Leadership Minnesota is truly an honor,” Sparks said. “The program offers an unparalleled, behind-the-scenes view of our state’s economy and the innovative companies driving it forward. The insights gained are invaluable, and the relationships built through Leadership Minnesota are even more impactful.”
