Brown County Rural Electric Association

Brown County REA is owned by its 3,300 members. Service is provided to the rural Brown County and parts of Nicollet, Sibley, Blue Earth and Redwood counties. Members established this cooperative in 1937.

Brown County REA strives to give its members good service by delivering reliable electric energy at the lowest possible cost. Member-owners control the direction of the cooperative through an elected Board of Directors.
