Bringing electricity to rural farms and homes was the challenge Goodhue County Cooperative Electric assumed in 1936 and continues to meet today. Farmers demanded electric service to improve their way of life and profitability. Today's electricity services help take much of the daily drudgery out of farming and housekeeping.
