Fergus Falls Journal: WCI hits major lending milestone

West Central Initiative, serving nine counties and tribal lands within the region, has reached a major lending milestone, distributing over $3 million through 43 loans within the last year — the highest dollar amount in its 40-year history.
“The loans supported entrepreneurs, small businesses, non-profits, childcare providers and community organizations across west central Minnesota and White Earth Nation, helping to strengthen local economies and expand opportunities throughout the region,” WCI stated in a release.
