Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal: Daikin Applied Americas building $163 million R&D facility in Twin Cities

Daikin Applied Americas Inc., a maker of commercial HVAC equipment, has begun construction of a 163 million dollars research and development test lab in the Twin Cities. The 71,000-square-foot facility will be located at the company's Plymouth headquarters at 13600 Industrial Park Boulevard according to an announcement Tuesday. Completion is expected sometime in 2027.
The new facility will focus on a specific cooling challenge that's become critical as artificial intelligence and cloud computing continue to expand.
