SC Times: St. Cloud's airport adds travelers, improvements in recent years

St. Cloud Sky Central Airport boasted its increased passenger count and improvement projects in its comprehensive community report, released Dec. 17.
Since 2022, the St. Cloud Regional Airport Authority worked on improvement projects worth nearly $10.9 million, of which nearly 93% was funded by state and federal grants, according to a release.
“St. Cloud Sky Central Airport is actively leveraging state and federal partnerships to secure funding for critical infrastructure improvements,” Airport Authority Board Chair Brian Myres wrote in a statement. “The ability to attract these grants has been a key advantage since transitioning to an airport authority."
