Long Lake Conservation Center (LLCC) has taken the initiative to enhance the energy efficiency of its buildings. With the support of MLEC’s Revolving Loan Fund, LLCC is retrofitting its campus with LED lighting. This upgrade will reduce the time and money spent on replacing bulbs and will lower its monthly energy usage. The MLEC Board has approved a loan totaling $29,571 for this project.
The MLEC Revolving Loan Fund was established through a grant provided by the USDA Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant (REDLG) program, which offers loans and grants to rural cooperatives for specific economic development purposes.
