Youth D.C. Tour Highlights Member-Cooperative’s Dedication to Education Program

Several of #GREecondev’s members are sending local students to Washington D.C. this summer, joining more than 1,800 students from across the country for the 2025 Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington D.C. The opportunity allows students a unique look into government, electric cooperatives and peer connection.

Education, community and electricity

The all-expense-paid trip is June 16-21, when the students will tour historic landmarks, visit museums and meet with members of Congress. Students also learn about the unique member-owned, community-focused, mission-driven nature that defines electric cooperatives while introducing them to potential career paths in the energy sector.
