Powering Progress: Stearns Electric’s New Headquarters Takes Shape—See the Transformation!

Stearns Electric Association is constructing a new operations center and headquarters in Melrose to replace its existing facility, originally constructed in 1970. Construction is over halfway complete and remains on budget, with completion and move-in expected by late summer 2025.

New headquarters to enhance service

The new facility will feature expanded service areas, a dispatch center with advanced outage management technology, and dedicated spaces for vehicles, equipment, and power restoration. Two-thirds of the building will house a garage, warehouse, mechanic shop, wash bay and special equipment area. Internal meeting rooms will support staff training and board functions.
