Loans for Minnesota businesses to locate and expand in cooperative service areas

Member-owner cooperatives of Great River Energy can access 0% interest loans for Minnesota businesses that facilitate commercial and industrial investment in the areas they serve. Great River Energy is a leader in site-selection services for new and expanding businesses, and especially for commercial and industrial operations with large energy demands. Member cooperatives that support new business attraction and expansion projects can access loans through Great River Energy’s Business Expansion Loan Program if the new projects result in new energy sales.

Great River Energy provides loans for Minnesota businesses 

The Great River Energy Business Expansion Loan Program helps businesses served by member-owner cooperatives fund land acquisition and pre-development activities, construction costs, and equipment. Loans are available from $100,000 to $500,000 based on the project scope. Business expansion loans can be made to the qualifying business, or to a local unit of government (city or county) to fund infrastructure improvements to support the qualifying business expansion project.
