With support from an Age Friendly Minnesota grant, NORTHFORCE has developed a Returnships Toolkit as a free resource to help employers widen applicant pools, follow fair hiring practices, and reduce ageism in the workplace.
The toolkit contains information on returnships and agism, along with tips and best practices for starting and running a successful returnship program. Resources include:
- Returnship job assessment tool, job description template, and application form template
- A sample returnship program handbook employers can tailor for their organizations
- Mentor program overview, sample timeline, and evaluation forms
- A guide to further resources, including regional services and programs
