MSP Business Journals: Developer proposing hotel, 275 residences along Mille Lacs Lake

A developer is proposing an approximately 122-acre mixed-use project in Garrison along Mille Lacs Lake, featuring 275 residential units and a 144-room lodge.
Yale Holdings plans a 3-story lodge, up to 189 single-family homes and 86 condos, according to an environmental review notice filed with the Minnesota environmental Quality board (EQB).
The rooms in the lodge, which would be larger than those of a typical hotel, would also be available for purchase, said Joseph Swanson, owner of Plymouth-based Yale Holdings.
