St. Cloud MSA has 'strong' 2019 in jobs added, especially in construction industry

If you landed a job in the construction industry in 2019, you're not alone.
In fact, you're one of many who filled those jobs in the St. Cloud metropolitan statistical area, a federal designation that includes Benton and Stearns counties.
Construction job growth in St. Cloud's MSA has grown faster than any other MSA in not only Minnesota, but also the nation, said Luke Greiner, regional analyst for central and southwestern Minnesota with Minnesota's Department of Employment and Economic Development, when discussing November's numbers.
