Member-owner cooperatives have an opportunity to promote net carbon reduction through Energy Efficiency and Electrification (E3) commercial financing

Environmentally conscious businesses can reduce their environmental impact with the help of the Energy Efficiency and Electrification (E3) Commercial Financing Program provided by Great River Energy. These loans provide the necessary funding to reduce net carbon production while creating new electrical revenue for cooperative members.

Member-owner cooperatives provide pass-through loans with Energy Efficiency and Electrification (E3) commercial financing

Besides electronic forklift and machinery purchases, Energy Efficiency and Electrification (E3) commercial financing allows major retrofits and upgrades. Funding for industry-dependent custom projects is available to maximize environmental impact and generate new energy sales for member-owner cooperatives. HVAC and lighting system upgrades are eligible, as are other projects that save at least 100,000 kilowatt-hours annually.
