Family ties and connections to the area brought physician Melissa Herbranson to Aitkin County several years ago. She grew up in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin and her parents and in-laws are retired in the McGregor area. Melissa has been married to her husband, Jon, for 12 years and the couple has three children under 10 years of age. the Herbransons live on a farm in the Aitkin area.
Herbranson said she loves the outdoors and spending time with her family. “I am passionate about gardening, hunting, fishing and farming in order to source high quality nutrition for my growing family,” she said.
