Launch Minnesota Innovation Grants target the most promising innovative and scalable technology businesses in Minnesota. The grants help reduce the risk for Minnesota technology startups and entrepreneurs who are solving problems and growing our state’s innovation ecosystem. Since its creation during the 2019 legislative session, Launch Minnesota has awarded 178 innovation grants totaling $4.2M to 130 unique grantees – accelerating the growth of startups and amplifying Minnesota as a national leader in innovation.

“Providing resources and support for technology startups is important to continue to grow our state’s economy,” said DEED Deputy Commissioner of Economic Development Kevin McKinnon. “These grants are assisting businesses at a critical stage in their development.”
