North Mankato has record building permit year

NORTH MANKATO — It was a banner year for development in North Mankato with a record dollar amount of building permits issued, some big industrial projects underway and a brisk market in new home construction.
"The outlook for North Mankato is very strong," said City Administrator John Harrenstein.
